An ageing King without an heir gives his subjects one seed and decreesthat everyone should ‘plant the seed, water the seed and sing to theseed, so that the seed may grow’. Everyone is ordered to return to thepalace one year later, and show the King what they have grown. Who willbecome the future King?

In this charming, wordless performance driven by original music andrhythms, two performers from Croatia's Theatre Mala Scena playfullyexplore how gravity impacts our everyday lives.
Dressed in sky-diving fatigues, an energetic duo combines livelydance and circus acrobatics with plenty of humour and audienceinteraction to show that gravity means much more than just the pull ofthe Earth. Parachutists or On the Art of Falling explores the concepts of flying, falling and freedom with the help of feathers, whizzing balloons and more surprises!

Babies Proms: Afro Beats

Feel the African rhythm.
Join in this fun-filled performance with renowned children’sperformer, multi-instrumentalist and composer, Afro Moses from Ghana,West Africa.
In the final Babies Proms event for 2009, Afro Moses and his band will have kids up on their feet, grooving to the African beats.
This colourful and interactive musical performance featuring traditional instruments, percussion and dance is not to be missed!

Darlingwood Tales

Hijinks and high kicks!
Something strange and mysterious is afoot in Darlingwood, a peculiar precinct in a big city where just about anything goes.
Citizens are mysteriously disappearing. Of course everyone has their suspicions, but no one is coming forward to solve the case!
Persuaded by the beautiful fortune-teller Bella de Ball, InspectorDetektif undertakes to expose the villain, following the mysteriousdisappearances of the Whippet Triplets, Burt and Ivy Brooze and theLeaf Brothers.
Drawn from classic fairytales with a nod to Roald Dahl, and the madness of Looney Tunes cartoons, Darlingwood Talesis set in a wonderful urban neighbourhood of laneways and terracehouses inhabited by deliciously eccentric and wickedly humourouscharacters. This is serious wacky fun – ‘You better be-LEAF it!’
