买房合约的毁约 WRITTEN NOTICE 问题

买房合约里有 SUBJECT TO BUILDING AND PEST INSPECTIONS 条款， 如果根据INSPECTION REPORT MAJOR DEFECT 毁约的话，请问这个 WRITTEN NOTICE 是发个电子邮件就好，还是要打印出来签名再扫描发电邮？ 还有这个 WRITTEN NOTICE 是不是有个官方（维州）的格式还是普通信格式就好了？

BUILDING REPORT
20.1 This general condition only applies if the applicable box in the particulars of sale is checked.
20.2 The purchaser may end this contract within 14 days from the day of sale if the purchaser:
(a) obtains a written report from a registered building practitioner or architect which discloses a current
defect in a structure on the land and designates it as a major building defect;
(b) gives the vendor a copy of the report and a written notice ending this contract; and

(c) is not then in default.
20.3 All money paid must be immediately refunded to the purchaser if the contract ends in accordance with this
general condition.
20.4 A notice under this general condition may be served on the vendor’s legal practitioner, conveyancer or estate
agent even if the estate agent’s authority has formally expired at the time of service.
20.5 The registered building practitioner may inspect the property at any reasonable time for the purpose of
preparing the report.

这里的 written notice 定义不明啊。 电邮算吗？ 还是亲笔签名信才算？

没有这么正式的

一封邮件，attach这个report，显示在多少页，然后as per the contract，我们现在要求退出合同和deposit如数退还，然后cc中介就行
