You will need to supervise and coordinate the work of construction crews of workers. You will need to be concerned with seeing that the workers do their job skillfully and efficiently, and that assigned work progresses on schedule.
Skills and experience
- Proven working experience in civil and construction management
- Will need to manage multiple construction crews
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
- Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
- Use and continually develop leadership skills
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
