In March, we communicated with you regarding the Victorian Governments requirement that all private pools and spas be registered with the local council by 1st June 2020.
Due to the impacts of the coronavirus, the Victorian Government have extended the deadline for the mandatory registration, the new deadline being 1st November 2020.
Private pool and spa owners now have until 1st November 2020 to register their pools and spas with their local council – this is an extension of five months from the original 1st June 2020 deadline. Owners who fail to register their pool or spa with their council by the due date, may face an on-the-spot fine of $330. |
