Agl电力账单里面的demand费用是什么意思？合理吗？

demand费用是晚上几个小时(用电高峰期)用的度数，然后乘以时间，再乘上天数。但是实际上这些电费已经在General Usage里面收费了吧?为什么还重复收费呢？

不知道哪位明白这个demand费用帮忙解答下吧，谢谢

你的合同是什么样的 当时签合同的时候要么是e-mail要么是纸质的信肯定写了具体的收费标准 如果是按时段算钱的话 假如 100c/day  高峰25c/kWh用了200度 平峰22c/Kwh用了100度 那就是100c*30天+25c*200+22c*100 自己算一下就知道总数对不对了

你截图的这个感觉只是information 就是告诉你在这22天内你平均0.2431这档电每天用了4.244度 所以这22天这部分一共22.7

我知道合同，当时就有，不过还是不太明白。这个好像是一个惩罚性的收费，比如在下午6-8点，家里用电多了，然后就会被加上这个费用。这个demand计算单位也不是平时的cents/kW，而是cents/kW/day，并且这个费用不低。之前用了5年agl,也没有这个收费。现在新的账单有了，网上搜了下，商业用电有这个，现在民用电上也开始普及收了。

我想肯定不是我一个人遇到，很多人会遇到这个新的demand收费，论坛很多高人，只是想弄得明白点。

我猜意思就是，电网这么弱，你还短时间内用这么多电，简直就是枉顾民主自由，罚钱！

但是我也想知道具体算法，，，

目前来看，就是 用电量 * demand部分的单价 * 天数
那这个用电量，它是怎么计算出来的呢。是算短时间内的那部分吗

不能取消，你家电表所处的tariff现在就含有demand这个收费项目。只能认，唯一可以做的就是换个公司，找更低的报价而已。

AGL的回复：

Demand charges are calculated by looking at a customers highest 30 minutes of energy usage during this peak time for the billing period .

This amount is then used to calculate the customer's bill and is reset at the beginning of the next billing period. This means that if customers lower or restrict how much power they're using during those peak times, they can potentially save on their final bill.

This is an industry wise implementation has adopted this and told the retailers to implement demand charges . I'm afraid we will not be able to confirm about other retailer

It depends on the meter configuration. That's correct. I can completely understand. Our Resolution Team needs to intervene to check if you can opt out of Demand charges based on your distributor region.
