PRANSTEK is an innovative and trendsetting licensed distributor of interactive IT solutions for the public and private sector with a broad range of current and prospective clients e.g. schools, hospitals, and office environments.
They have a unique opportunity for the National Business Development Manager, who will be responsible for revenue growth in the metropolitan areas of Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, and Perth. The role is based in the client’s head offices in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
We’re on the lookout for a strategic and highly driven candidate to join the client’s Sales team. Target-focused and hungry to make a sale, you will capitalize on creating new relationships across a number of industry portfolios, building rapport and identifying and developing meeting solutions for clients across Australia.
With previous experience in business development and acquisition of new accounts, you will leverage off your cold calling skills, resilience and enthusiasm to achieve results. You will have set KPIs and targets and will be someone who flourishes in an autonomous role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop a detailed understanding of our products and services.
• Exhibit a consultative sales approach to determine a customer's visual collaboration needs.
• Develop price quotations and bid responses that are complete, accurate, and profitable.
• Travel, as necessary, to cover sales responsibilities in neighboring states.
• Establish professional relationships with manufacturer sales and sales engineering personnel.
• Design and implement focused prospecting tools such as webinars, seminars, and email campaigns to increase sales and expand our customer base in the designated territory.
• Accountable for maintaining a strong sales pipeline with detailed reporting.
• Meet or exceed aggressive monthly GP quota.
REQUIREMENTS:
Highly motivated with a proven track record of selling video conferencing, managed services, and network infrastructure business.
Experience selling some of the following; network services, unified communications, as well as integration, professional and managed services.
Solution sales experience in the retail vertical is strongly preferred, with a strong capability to handle different solutions such as AV, Digital Signage, LED, Analytics, etc.
Exposure to AV channel sales and an understanding of the key players in this market
Excellent communication skills are organized and comfortable with on-line forecasting tools.
Ability to understand, present and demonstrate visual collaboration products and services to end-user customers.
5+ years in videoconferencing, network services or AV integration sales is preferred
Ability to think strategically about customer issues
The enthusiastic and can-do attitude
Proven sales ability including negotiation skills and persuasive ability to close a deal
