看到隔壁帖子说讨论雷克萨斯的帖子太少,刚好最近在看车,就凑热闹分享一个帖子,觉得还不错:
来说说为什么雷克萨斯在美国能与奔驰宝马抗衡,在中国却是第二阵营.
前年,奔驰在美国销量是372977辆,宝马是346023辆,雷克萨斯是344601辆,在美国雷克萨斯怎么做到与奔驰宝马旗鼓相当? 当年丰田的市场调查发现, BBA等传统车更强调权威和血统。最终美国对传统有叛逆倾向的那些中产阶级新贵,成了雷克萨斯的早期用户。在他们看来也许动力、血统、驾驶乐趣雷克萨斯不是最强的。但是对比 BBA ,雷克萨斯说自己更省心,更安静,内装更精致,性价比更高,服务更好。
BBA今天在中国市场上的风光是多年耕耘的结果。德国人进入中国市场早,一来渠道方面有先发,二来也更早摸清了中国消费者的需求。看看现在BBA的产品线,B级C级全都玩起了加长,连X1这种型SUV都不放过。中国税狠,BBA早早就开始推增压机型。奥迪国产化最早,是加长特供车的始作俑者。以操控著称的宝马不但把5系加得快跟7系一边长了,还把悬架调软来迎合中国人对于舒适的要求。奔驰E级知道中国人爱面子,把E级生生拉成了迈巴赫,大屏还是标配待遇。
那么雷克萨斯为中国人的需求做过什么呢?一不国产,二不加长,价格还高高在上,还不怎么打折,怎么可能大卖?
至于雷克萨斯为什么不国产,主要在于雷克萨斯对产品把控的严苛。
雷克萨斯在加拿大只生产RX,在美国只生产ES,而LS、GS、IS、CS等系列都在日本本土。而在加拿大和美国都是雷克萨斯独资,拥有最高的监管权利——雷克萨斯除了自己人,谁也不相信——在九州工厂里,雷克萨斯还保留了一个很原始的环节,通过有着丰富经验的工匠们用锤子去敲、用手去摸、用耳朵去听来保证产品的品质。

本人真的不是卖车的,也不是要黑日系或德系车,因为最近在看车,正在纠结是买雷克萨斯还是宝马X5, 所以查了很多帖子就想和大家分享一下,没想到引起了骂战。个人其实特别喜欢BBA,所以宝马奔驰那些最早就去看了,但后来看了一些real user review,实在担心,所以才去看了雷克萨斯. 下面只是一些例子关于德系车的可怕故事,大家怎么看呢?本人雷克萨斯和德系车都没开过,求指教!

Toyota is more reliable than any European brand, especially in the long term. Lexus is probably a bit more reliable than Toyota. If you dont care about reliability (a broken down car at the wrong place/time can be painful however rich you are) or depreciation a European car might be for you

My old Benz C Class is a lovely car, but after 60,000 km, and just outside warranty: $3.5k heater repair, $2.9k ignition switch repair, $1.5k alternator, and now $4.5k air con repair and CD player repair [yet we never used the CD player].
My front door neighbour had 2011 C250D oil leak that cost $3k to repair.
In 2015, after repairing, they quickly traded it in for a German assembled E250 Coupe, and within 12 months, a big oil spill all over their garage floor.
Benz towed and gave them a loan car under warranty.

All I can tell you is that with my nearly decade old is250, I've done nearly 200000kms and not a single problem inside or out besides what is probably the softest paint imaginable on a car.
In contrast, the '11 Merc e350 c207, which is an entire class up, seems to have a new problem every single time I hit the ignition... Ranging from failed airbags to the steering wheel not coming down, to the seat belts not coming out to present themselves, and even the left headlight has dimmed. Many electrical faults and bloody annoying... As much as I absolutely love the engine and styling of the Mercedes,I would not buy another.
