Life 3.0: Being Human in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
“The book started as a novel telling a story of the future with AI affecting every aspect of the society, the scary part is imaging how AI would escape our attempt to restrain it, with us like intellectually 3 year old kids trying to keep an adult in prison; Then the author discusses the possibility of a multi-galaxy settlement, where i felt like reading through A Brief History of Time again with all the puzzling huge numbers (many many many ... zeros) and physics i struggle to understand; At last, the author talked about consciousness, whether the machine can develop consciousness.
Overall, this book is intriguing, but did not fulfil my expectation after reading Homo Deus: A brief history of tomorrow. It is probably because Harari has set the bar too high.”
