Junior Java Developer (Sydney full-time)
NOTE: To qualify for this role you must be living in Sydney now and have a full AUSTRALIAN PERMANENT RESIDENCY Visa.
We're looking for smart Java developers who can write the code that enable our clients to get tailored solutions through configuration.
We are looking for people who do not need to be told what to do. People who are keen, smart and enjoy finding new ways to build better solutions.
Requirements:
• Must hold a Bachelor degree of software development related, or TAFE with at least 1 year experience.
• Solid understanding SQL and NoSQL databases
• Interest in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, and how it applies to the development pipeline
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work both collaboratively with a team, and alone where necessary
• Be courageous in terms of speaking one’s mind, yet approachable and open to be convinced by other points of view
• Open to change and new ideas and find the ebb and flow of our evolving business exciting
You must be able to demonstrate that you have taken initiative beyond what you have been instructed to do which has benefited your team and/or company.
Highly Desirable Experience in the following technologies:
• Spring
• Java Enterprise Libraries including EJB, JPA, Servlet, JAX WS, JAX RS
• Maven
• Scripting such as Python, Shell, Bash
• CI/CD
