E-Tours Australia is an Inbound Tour Operator looking for a Tour Consultant, who is passionate about Australian inbound tourism. You will manage travel requirements made by our Overseas business partners Hong Kong, China and Vietnam and you will provide tourism related services and package tours on behalf of our suppliers. The goal is to keep our clients satisfied and loyal for future bookings and services.
Responsibilities
• Plan transportations, accommodations and other travel services
• Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destinations, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations
• Provide relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc) to business clients
• Book transportations, make hotel reservations and issue invoices
• Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds
• Attend travel seminars to remain updated with tourism trends
• Enter data into our software and maintain client files
• Network with tour operators and industry colleagues
Requirements
• Proven work experience in the travel industry (min 1 year)
• Excellent knowledge of computer
• Must be able to read and write English & Cantonese (Traditional Chinese characters)
• Strong skills in commercial awareness
• Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
• Sound knowledge of domestic travel trends
• Personal travel experiences will be considered an advantage
Your working hours are 09:30am – 6:00pm Monday – Friday
We are in Parramatta CBD 5 minutes from the station and Westfields
