a global consulting company based in Melbourne (head office in London) that specialises in business improvement, strategic advisory and corporate advice surrounding situations like M&A, expansion etc. This organisation is in the process of implementing SAP and is in need of a Systems Accountant or Business Analyst to help them through the last legs of the project. The most important responsibilities of this role include:

-      Projects surrounding roll out (over two phases) of SAP Business By Design (ByD), Business Objects (BOJO) and Business Planning and Consolidations (BPC)
-      Data cleansing, converting and migration from the current ERP/s
-      Database warehouse reporting, data modelling in cubes and the development of reports through BPC
-      Liaising with stakeholders in Melbourne, London and other APAC offices
-      Ad hoc projects around the BS and P&L for successful migration to the new system/s (revenue recognition is a significant part of this)
-      Writing test scripts and taking part in training throughout rollout in phase one and two

Important for the individual:

-      This role is a 6 month contract initially that will be based in the Melbourne CBD
-      The role is due to start immediately however 2 weeks would be the absolute limit for notice period
-      There will be up to 10-12 weeks consecutive travel between offices in London and throughout their Asia branches
-      Must have a good understanding of accounting principles
-      Must have exposure to SAP – not necessarily these particular modules
