Executive Assistant
Full time, Band 3.1
The Arts Centre is the largest performing arts centre in Australia comprising the State Theatre, Playhouse and Fairfax Studio, Hamer Hall, the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and a range of ancillary spaces. It attracts more than 2.7million visitors each year. Situated in the heart of Melbourne's cultural precinct, the Arts Centre collaborates with artists, presenters and performing arts organisations to create, facilitate, promote and present world-class programs to appeal to a broad and diverse audience.
This position reports to the Executive - Organisation who is responsible for the following business areas: People & Culture, Information Systems and Finance and Business.
The successful applicant will;
Contribute positively to the achievement of the Organisation business group outcomes
Collaborate with the Executive-Organisation to support the delivery of special projects
Provide effective stakeholder management support to the Executive - Organisation
Provide a high standard of administrative support to the People & Culture, Information Systems and Finance and Business leadership teams
Provide quality executives services and support to relevant Trust and management committees and forums
Manage the office of the Executive-Organisation
Contribute to Organisation business group and enterprise projects as required
The position would be ideal for an extremely organised and flexible support person who is outcome focussed and capable of taking the initiative in facilitating the delivery of a range of administrative and organisational projects. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication (including writing) and presentation skills, excellent planning and administration skills, a high standard of computer literacy, and the ability to provide a high level of quality support to an Executive and his or her team.
The successful candidate will be able to identify with and promote the Arts Centre's vision for the future and will be committed to embracing the Art Centre values of Inclusivity, Inspiration, Integrity, Creativity and Leadership.
