[NSW] 问问各位家长有经验申请out of school catchment吗？？？ [复制链接]

想问问可以同时申请3个out of catchment的学校吗？？都想试试看，不知道学校能不能从网站看到我也在申请别的学校呢？？有经验的家长吗？？感谢

They can't find out which other schools you have applied for.
But most of popular schools won't have any seats for out of area application.
We applied three last year, and waited until late Oct for results. But none of them are positive in the end.

no, we got into another school. Catholic school which I found out later it is a much better school. But because I am not that into Catholic school, so I still feel sad.
We are lucky because one of families move to Melbourne, so that Catholic school has a space in early November and I just applied at that day. There are many families in the waiting list before but in November they all enrolled into other schools. So we are really lucky.
But I think you should get plan B in case.

It depends.
School only cares about kids religion rather than parents.
But you can say to them, catholic school should have open mind to embrace people who are just on the way towards to God.
I still like public school with good reputation though.
