Austrata Electronics Pty Ltd specializes in providing electronics services to Strata Schemes and the private sector throughout the Sydney Metropolitan area, including the supply and installation of Electronics, Data, Television Antenna, Satellite, MATV, CCTV, Surveillance, Security Camera and Intercom Systems.

We seek a well presented and professional Electronics Technician, who enjoys a varied day. Your duties would include onsite fault diagnosis, service, repair and installation of equipment. A specific list of duties and responsibilities is as follows:

•        Install and maintain the electronic components, circuits and systems used for security equipment and applications;
•        Carry out installation and commissioning of the electronic equipment and systems, including Television Antenna, Satellite, MATV etc.;
•        Support security systems such as CCTV, Surveillance, Security Camera, Intercom Systems, Access Control etc. and oversee the maintenance of such security systems including all applicable hardware and software updates;
•        Ensure high performance and safety standards through routine monitoring and troubleshooting;
•        Conduct configurations for the pre-existing apparatus and services;
•        Provide technical support for colleagues in the company, suppliers and customers when necessary.

Before applying for this position, please ensure you meet the following criteria:

•        AQF Certificate IV in IT, Electronics or relevant majors;
•        Ability to interact efficiently with customers / users and security management as well as oversee the work of multiple suppliers;
•        Detailed knowledge of security equipment in terms of installation and application methods as well as the ability to install and troubleshoot;
•        A practical / hands on approach;
•        Work both as a part of a strong technical team as well as autonomously.
