准备后院建Deck,怎么跟coucil申请premit?

我想自己在后院建一个30平米左右的deck，请教各位朋友们，怎么向council申请permit?

我们是所属wyndham council的，好像是说10平米以内是不要permit的，可是现在计划的是超过这个限制了。然后给council咨询了一下，就收到了一封信，说需要我们提供整个deck的具体cost还有人工费（可是我们自己建应该不存在人工费啊？难道是让我们算自己雇自己的工钱？）还需要一个full plan和图纸...

跟着还有几点我都看不懂了，说“the deck setback of 800mm will require a report and consent under Regulation 414- side and rear setback as the deck cannot encroach into the required 1000mm side setback." - 我们是在平地上建一个，这一点跟我应该没有关系吧？

还有说“ the deck that is located at 800mm of the allotment boundary does not have the appropriate fire separation as required by Clause 3.7.1.6 of NCC...." 这点完全看不懂 ：（

看来您家的decking离开地面挺高或者带Roof吧，不然没这么多要求。

要么是你家zone规定要有1m的side setback，要么是decking在邻居家北方，会挡住他家阳光(north facing window issue)。这个具体讲的话要说一堆，就不赘述了。

根据NCC（前称BCA）有关要求，出于消防原因，它得离开boundary 900mm（最好1m）以外。

另外如果你自己搞定的话，可能还要申请owner builder。而且出图不能DIY，得找qualified的人。
