谁用过Bupa的Top hospital?

Bupa的这个Top hospital 包括 family in hospital benefits, 是不是家属陪住的住院费不用自己付？还是自己得付一部分呢？有用过Westmead Private的姐妹们吗？

TOP HOSPITAL 包的

This benefit is payable from the patient's entitlements, therefore the attendant does not have to be covered by a Bupa policy. This benefit is offered to a partner, immediate family member, carer, parent, child or next of kin who needs to stay at the hospital with the patient. It is intended to cover just one person/parent to stay with the patient.

This benefit offers the following entitlements:
◾accommodation charges raised by the hospital of up to $60 per night while staying with an admitted patient
◾benefit of up to $30 per day towards the cost of meals provided by the hospital or purchased from the hospital cafeteria for the non-admitted person staying with the patient in hospital only.


Note:
Meals, snacks or coffees for patient visitors from the hospital cafeteria or external outlets e.g. McDonalds, Hudsons are not claimable.

住院生宝宝的话，如果没有bupa top hospital, 比如intermediate的也可以包一位家属陪住医院？这个是不是由医院来决定的？

Sorry I don't have Chinese keyboard.

Corporate Hospital Intermediate doesn't have family-in-hospital benefit.

BUT, normally the hospital doesn't charge your partner any fee anyway. HOWEVER, a lot of hospital is NOT allowing partner to stay overnight with patient. It depends on hospital admin policy. nothing to do with your health cover.

即使有 top hospital, 医院不允许家属陪宿的话，也不能用这个benefit了？

另外请问，现在bupa的等待期是按实际生产日期还是预产期呢？

Yes, that is right, but you can ask if hospital would like to charge some cost, so your family can stay with you.
另外请问，现在bupa的等待期是 The real Date of birth. not expect date of birth
