Special interest rate charged on introductory period. It's good for people who has large amount outstanding on their credit cards paying at least 17-18%p.a interest, if by transfer their balance to a new card, the transfer rate may be 0% for 6 months or 12 months, or 2.99%/5.99% for 6 months. It all depends on which bank or company offers the product.
