Commonwealth Bank of Australia, the nation's second largest bank by assets, is already in informal talks to acquire HBOS's Australian unit in a sale that may raise as much as $7 billion, people familiar with the plan said earlier this month. The unit includes Perth-based BankWest, which has about $36.7 billion of deposits.

''If there is an attractive offer for BankWest in Australia I think they'd jump at it,'' said Alan Beaney, investment head at Sevenoaks, England-based Principal Asset Management, which holds HBOS and Lloyds stock.

我也把2/3的钱从BANKWEST转出来了， 这几年BANKWEST很AGGRESSIVE， 怕出问题。
