Datacard South Pacific Pty Ltd (DCSP), www.datacard.com.au, located in Australia and New Zealand is looking for an experienced Software Systems Support Engineer to work in our Mulgrave office reporting directly to the National Service Manager.
The successful applicant will enjoy working with a very friendly small team out of a modern office complex. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a stable, market leader in the provision of Equipment, Supplies & Software Solutions to the Cards and Personalization market.
The Primary Responsibility of this position are :
- Office IT administration. ( Includes supporting office applications on Server & each staff members PC, writing documentation for office IT administration, out source IT facility for DCSP), (approx. 25% of work time)
- Develop software or customized solution according to customer requirement or DCSP office’s requirement. (approx. 25% of work time)
- Develop, deploy and support Datacard software for variety products. (approx. 50% of work time)
A formal degree, in the field of Information Technology is required, you will also possess excellent interpersonal skills and commercial acumen. Key selection criteria will be focusing on strong technical knowledge, initiative, problem solving, leadership skills and strong computer literacy.
This professional must have a caring approach to their work and they must be:
• Self-Motivated,
• Well-Organized,
• Team Player, and
• Have a Hands-on approach
Personal Skills required include but not limited to :
- Good problem solving skills;
- Willingness to learn, participate and interact;
- Professional appearance and attitude;
