请教高人：TELSTRA CABLE的路由器—家长管理问题

前段时间换了telstra cable，送的那个MAX的路由器，已经说是最好的了。可是在设置parenting control里面，只有domain和keyword 过滤两个选项。不能就上网时间啊mac地址啊那些来设置。请问有没有解决的办法呢——主要想控制小孩的网络时间

这个本末倒置了。　应该从小孩的上网设备上管理。　比如ＩＰＡＤ或者电脑。　　
而且就算路由器上有设置。　也应该是孩子立下规矩才对吧。而不是暗中设置parent control ?

谢谢啊。我设parenting control肯定要和他们讲好的，以前的tplink路由器可以在路由器上统一设置——某个MAC地址的设备上网时间从几点到几点，所以请教下

还真不知道。　我帮你顶一下。　我个人觉得Ｉｐａｄ上的ｐａｒｅｎｔ　ｃｏｎｔｒｏｌ过滤掉一些网站。就够用了。否则的话就上网的时候定时。可能对小孩子管用。大孩子估计没用。　路由器型号是什么？　可以帮你ｇｏｏｇｌｅ下，最大的可能能通过升级Ｆｉｒｍｗａｒｅ来实现。

谢谢啊。型号是netgear c6300BD.  TELSTRA GATEWAY MAX

我的主要目的并不是过滤掉特定域名或者网页，而是时间管理。

例如我现在智能电视机直接网线接路由器，看youtube，想要设置电视机上网时间周一到周五下午3.30-4.30。周末几点到几点。电视机本身的网络设置里面是无法完成我的要求的

Schedule When to Block Internet Sites and Services
When you schedule blocking, the same schedule is used to block sites and to block services.
For information about how to specify what you want the modem router to block, see Use
Keywords to Block Internet Sites on page 26 and Block Services from the Internet on
page 28.

 To schedule blocking:
1. Launch a web browser from a computer or wireless device that is connected to the
network.
2. Type http://routerlogin.net or http://192.168.0.1.
A login screen displays.
3. Enter the modem router user name and password.
The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and
password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home screen displays.
4. Select ADVANCED > Security > Schedule.
5. Specify when to block keywords and services:
• Days to Block. Select the check box for each day that you want to block the
keywords or select the Every Day check box, which automatically selects the check
boxes for all days.
• Time of Day to Block. Select a start and end time in 24-hour format, or select All
Day for 24-hour blocking.
6. Select your time zone from the list.
7. If you live in an area that observes daylight saving time, select the Automatically adjust for
daylight savings time check box.
8. Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved

这是help文件里面说到security的内容
Firewall Help
You can use the Services page to disable certain gateway features. To disable a feature, remove the check box from its Enable check box.
None:
All traffic is allowed.
Low:
Same as None, record DOS Protection/Port Scan attack to a log if DOS Protection/Port Scan is enabled.
Medium:
Blocks all outgoing traffic except AIM/ICQ, DHCPv6, DNS, FTP-S, HTTP ALT, HTTP, HTTP-S, IMAP, IMAP-S, IPSec NAT-T, NTP, POP3, POP3-S, RADIUS, SMTP, SSH, SMTP-S, Steam, Steam Friends, Telnet-S, XBOX Live, World of Warcraft and Yahoo Messenger.
High:
Blocks all outgoing traffic except DNS, HTTP, HTTP-S, IMAP-S, IPSec NAT-T, NTP, POPS-S, SSH, SMTP and SMTP-S.
When Firewall Features are enabled, the gateway will perform Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) and protect against Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
Enable Port Scan
When Port Scan Detection is enabled, the cable gateway has the ability to respond to Internet based port scans.
Enable Dos Protection
When Dos Protection is enabled, the cable gateway has the ability to protect against Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.

把具体型号找出来。只要一ｇｏｏｇｌｅ就出来了。　　但是ｔｅｌｓｔｒａ网上说最新的ｆｉｒｍｗａｒｅ有ｂｕｇ。或许要谨慎升级。

昨天仔细研究了一通，在你提供的几个地址里下了Netgear_C6300BD_User_Guide文件。

关于parental control的说明是要去到netgear的网站上，下载一个app——NETGEAR Genie，还要注册一个openDNS账号，才可以。

结果是注册之后不管怎么样也登陆不了NETGEAR Genie，去到论坛上才发现也有许多人有类似问题，最后有人给出答案，应该是这个netgear genie支持的路由器型号非常有限：cable的只支持一种

看样子暂时是不能实现parental control了，除非我把这个路由猫设置成拨号，用我以前的tplink做路由器
