Applications are invited for the position of Volunteer  School Officer

The appointment of successful applicant will :-



- be eligible to work in Australia with a permanent residency status;

- be fluent in spoken English and Mandarin; spoken Cantonese is an advantage;

- be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related work; currently hold or be eligible to hold a Working-With-Children-Check Card;

- have a commitment to work on Saturdays from 8:45am to 12:30pm of the gazetted 2015 School Term dates in Victoria;

- the role encompasses working with teachers, students and parents including liaising with parents whenever required, setting up and cleaning up, performing the school front desk duties including collecting school fees, school books distribution and stock taking, photocopying, laptop computer skills in Microsoft Windows 7 or 8, Office suites, internet searches, student data inputs and file management;

- display proven communication and interpersonal skills



Estimated Start Date : immediate by 2nd May 2015

Position Tenure :  Continuing to 12th December 2015 Days Worked

2015 School term Saturdays only Working Hours : every Saturday week 8:45am - 12:30pm

** A Travel Allowance for the successful Volunteer School Officer may be offered.
