1. It is up to you whether you want to pay PLS or CA masterclass to assist your multiple choice or final exam. In my opinion, it really depends on your previous understanding over a particular subject when you studied in uni or learnt at work.
2. overseas fees - I believe the overseas fees is charged for candidates not working in Aus (e.g. Malaysia candidates) and they need to take the exam overseas.
3. 10 multiple choices questions with 1.5 hours time limit (from memory). The questions will not repeat for candidate 1 & candidate 2. Technically you can ask candidates 1 to do multiple choice together, however noone will do this because they are not THAT difficult. In other words, noone will bother to waste 3 hours to do 2 multiple choice exams. For example your fellow candidate has to do your multiple choice first and then complete his / her own one. Also, You and fellow candidate may breach the CA plagiarism rule.
4. You will only obtain marks if you answer the questions in a concise matter. There will be no extra marks given by providing background info or irrelevant / incorrect responses.
5. By posting on the CA subject peer forum. Once you enrolled in AAA subject, you can form study groups and ask fellow candidates to join or join existing study groups online or in your area.
6. CICPA exams should be harder because it is in Chinese and the pass rate is way lower than CA program.
7. Back pay and cliam the deduction over your tax return.
8. Ask big 4 or fellow candidates to obtain the past exam papers. CA will supply you the last semester's exam and supplementary exam past exam papers.
Good luck |
