Network Security Engineer

Education

•        Typically requiring University qualification  BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent
•        Advanced industry certification preferred in one or more.

Requirements

•        Intimate experience with telecommunications network security theory
•        In-depth knowledge of implementing, troubleshooting & supporting complex networks.
•        Intimate knowledge of Routing, routed protocols, IP, VPN, QoS, MPLS, Security, WAN, LAN
•        Experience on Checkpoint firewalls, IDS, IPS, and Cisco firewalls module.
•        Experience on Crossbeam is a plus
•        Through knowledge of Service provider or large enterprise solutions
•        Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
•        Ability to work independently and at the same time adding value as a team member in a project-based environment.
•        Demonstrate technical knowledge and consultative skills.
•        Ability to understand complex technical
•        Ability to drive projects, solve problems and solicit resources directly or through project managed systems.
•        Organizational, time management, attention to detail and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities
•        Providing specific solution/technology/product consulting, technical and sales support to clients
•        Understanding business requirements and ability to translate them into technical requirements
•        Create, present and document technical solutions
