You see, that's how western media propaganda always does, and you learned well: using ur own biased interpretation and stated as a fact.
I simply said this investigation should not be politically driven, which means it should NOT be proposed or conducted by any politicians/government agencies. And this current one proposed by Morrison has already very well involved  with US, no matter whether US has officially participated or not.  Leave it to scientists. Conduct after Nov US election. First of all,  Dr. Li Wenliang was not persecuted. He was warned of spreading unconfirmed news of an unknown disease to his fellows on WeChat. THen released back home. Then passed aways because of infection. I'm not saying it's right or wrong to warn him of doing this, but persecution is a big word. You use your exaggeration again. Well, have to admit, you learn from the best.
Speaking of persecution, tell me more about the doctors and captains been fired at US because they tell the truth, or the nurses been forbidden to wear masks but have to face patients.
Or maybe you can tell me more about how or why on facebook many accounts/videos have been deleted in such a free world?

Of course, it is the scientists job to conduct the scientific investigation, but it is the politician's job to make sure such investigation is allowed to take place. That's exactly what the EU/Australia and other over 100 countries' leaders are trying to achieve.

2. So you do believe that the over 100 countries are all biased and that the Chinese government is the only who is not? By the way, you'd be embarrassed if the Chinese government later accept the request.

Of course, the call for an enquiry is not justified by the number of countries who support it. It is justified by the value of the thousands of human lives that have been lost in this pandemic.

3. You are even trying to downplay the treatment Dr. Li received as "warning". OK. Let's use the word "warning". It was an "or else..." warning, a warning that intimidates. A warning that was supported right form the official news channel CCTV .

Do not even compare the freedom of speech with that in a diplomacy. Compare the degree of freedom in China 10 years ago. This  dictator hushes anyone who dares to disagree with him. People are terrified in speaking up their political opinions. And yet,  you are still defending his regime. This dictator is leading China to disaster the same way Mao led us to disaster 60 years ago. Ask yourself, do you really love China?

That just justify there needs an investigation, not an investigation with political agenda. why not investigate into the place with a bio-lab shutting down in August? why not investigate the country with the most patients? Why China? Simply because Chinese are good at discovering a new virus, then it is Chinese to blame?

3. I love China, by my heart. Do you love China? I doubt it.
The freedom of speech in China has long been criticized by the west.  And I used to believe the west has such a well-developed political system, at least that's what I learned while I was in China. But after I came to Australia, the extent of how western media can be biased against China just shocked me. I then realized I have been too naive to believe in the ideal free world US and west has painted. I hope conditions can be improved in China, but not pushed by any western country. It will just turn China into the next Ukraine.
Back to Dr. Li, yes, it's a warning in the sense that his personal freedom and quality of life has not been affected. He is just been told not to do such a thing again.
And you have just been too naive to believe western politicians' motive is to seek justice.

反党不反国本身就是无知人的思维，当初八国联军打的也只是清朝，西方文明用枪炮打进有100多年，好像对中国人民来说，没享受到西方的文明，最后好像都民都不畏死了，这么落后的又新建的国家还敢和联合国打。估计当时的人都自认溅命一条，也无所谓了。

1. Morrison has been calling for "an independent investigation into the origin of the virus" Your believe that the investigation he was calling would be biased is unfounded. It is your own bias.

2. Isn't it fair enough to start the investigation from the place where the outbreak started? Why are you so defensive?

3. Are you sure? You love the ruling class in China, don't you? Do you really care about the voiceless people whose citizen rights have been taken away? Do you really care about the "low end population"?

"I hope conditions can be improved in China":  By who? by the dictator who had the national constitution revised to allow permanent power?

Prejudice is everywhere. There are different voices that can be heard in this free country and you can have your own opinion.

I never said that the West represents justice and I never said that democracy is perfect.However, their flaws do not justify what the Chinese government's position toward an investigation on the origin of the virus. Their flaws do not justify the way Chinese government treat their own citizens, like Dr. Li and numerous others who speak up.

" This is purely ur own idea about others and almost a personal attack of calling others been selfish and cold blood. Won't reply you again. Just tell you this : if you want to stand on a high moral ground, check ur own backyard. If one country can invade another country based on a bag of washing powder, causing countless civilian death, why not propose an investigation and ask for compensation? where is ur sense of justice and sympathy? I support China to reject this investigation just because I love China, don't want China turn into another Ukraine, or Iraq. How about you? What's your motive? If true justice is to be made, countries who commit crimes in the war should be held accountable. But too many people, like yourself, just believe "What US did was absolutely minimal comparing to their vicious sins." ( which actually causes countless death and suffering for people around the world) and letting those sins forgotten in the history. This is exactly why US,and most of these western countries have lost their moral ground long time ago.

Things have never been either black or white. Using the indemnity to build a university does not prove the legitimacy of war. The logic is more like killing someone then give the victim's family a new house, saying: see, I've given you a big house and now you live a good life, you should thank me. This is pure gangster.  Should aboriginals in America and Australia feel thankful too?

First of all, "diplomatic ties with the west", so as diplomacy goes, it is not an international court to seek justice, it's a way of communication to get  mutual benefit. As benefit goes, China imports what  Chinese need from these countries and sells what China produced to the west to support Chinese jobs. What's the problem with that?

Back to same analogy, if someone kills your family member and your wife still keeps communicating with this killer for, maybe a better compensation, will you blame your wife for the death instead of holding the real killer accountable?
