Maybe you didn’t notice, but the tap must have been leaking for a while. It is very hard to capture dripping water on stainless steel so the photo I sent you really was the best I could do. In addition I took a photo of the shelf under the sink and there are some evident water stains there (see attached). Also when I touched the surface of the bench top on the left hand side of the sink, it felt uneven. The bench is laminate and must have got some water damage inside by absorbing moisture. You can’t see it on the outside though. The tenant actually put the plug in the sink yesterday and the sink was half full within a few hours. It is considerable water wastage, in theory the tenant may refuse to pay for it. However he called me this morning and offered to replace the tap. I think it would be fair to reimburse him for it.
是说租客自己要换吗?那我该怎么回复?是让他自己换给钱呢,还是说找个handyman或者plumber给换呢? |
