Did u ask any change about the enrolment criteria?
I believe the school will have a lot of phone ...
The biggest change would be "renting in the school zone". I was told today that:
- If you rent a property within the Glen Waverley Secondary College zone, you cannot have a property elsewhere. The school conducts property searches to ensure all students' families have their primary homes within the school zone.
- You must provide full evidence that the lease contract is for at least 12 months if the family doesn't buy a property within the Glen Waverley Secondary College catchment area within that time frame.
- For however long the student is attending Glen Waverley Secondary College, he/she MUST reside WITHIN the catchment area. This means that if the family wishes to buy a property after renting in the catchment zone, that new property would also have to be in the zone. I guess some negotiations can be made, I was told that the school may offer some assistance regarding that matter.
