Casual Salary Rate: $25.55 - $26.91 per hour

Duties:
Assist with planning and implementing the educational program for individuals and groups of children as part of the teaching team.  Contributes to maintaining a safe and healthy environment and assists in the overall procedures of the student/campus based children centre.

Selection Criteria:
Certificate III in Children’s Services;
Two years’ experience in early childhood services preferably in long day care;
Ability to comfort children, encourage self help skills and develop a caring rapport to meet their needs;
Good communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to children and adults from diverse backgrounds;
Ability to work independently and within a team environment with initiative, flexibility and the capacity to contribute to the overall procedures of the centre;
Current First Aid qualification specifically related to the care of children and approved by the WorkCover Authority for the purposes of the Work Health & Safety Act 2011 or a first aid course approved by the Department of Community Services.

The Administrative Coordinator is responsible to provide administration services for the Projects Group including secretarial support, procurement administration tasks, clerical, information and documentation management and data entry which support the effective and efficient operation of the department and portfolio in achieving the strategic goals and objectives.

Selection Criteria

Proven skills and experience providing an administrative support service in a complex and high volume environment. NB: ability to demonstrate experience in a combination of the following: office administration, basic business management, executive / personal assistance, customer service centre support, rostering and logistics, projects coordination, office reception, high volume electronic and paper based document management, and newsletters preparation.
Significant experience in working with a procurement system similar to IPOS for preparing requestions and payment of invoices.
High level written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including strong business writing ability and experience preparing presentations.
Experience in contract and tender documentation preparation and administration highly desirable
Highly competent keyboard skills with demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and record management databases (such as TRIM).
Demonstrated exceptional skills, experience and focus in customer service &  high level diplomacy.
High levels of initiative, prioritisation, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

今天查了一下，好多人报名。。

有时想是不是该停止办这个讲座了，但有需求在，我总是难以说服自己。。

有时＂四大皆空＂的悲观主义发作，简直心如止水。

人，大概注定是矛盾体。

well, casual trainer is not a good job for me after all, as I am always nervous about getting things well prepared... I end up spending too much time on each lesson, which brining down the actual hourly rate for sure...

another negative side is night time teaching; this impacts my family time...

probably, I will quit the MS Office teaching part and only keep the more interesting part.

life is so unforeseeable, considering sometime ago, I was extremely keen on taking up another trainer position. Now I am thinking of quitting already. This is one of the reasons why I enjoy life so much...tomorrow is always a different day:)

Role:  The  Data Analyst provides data analysis and reporting capabilities within the Systemic Reviews Unit. The position has responsibility for assisting with acquiring, cleansing, storing and extracting for analysis, data collected whilst reviewing the deaths of children and people with disabilities in care within NSW. Highly developed technical skills in data maintenance and analysis, including visualisation and report generation, are critical for successfully carrying out the duties of this role.

Selection criteria:  
Advanced skills in Microsoft T-SQL (or other SQL variant e.g. Oracle), with at least 3 years experience in the development of data manipulation, analysis and reporting queries, including data transformation (ETL) package such as Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services
Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Access
Intermediate skills developing charts, graphs and other types of data visualisation using a data presentation and reporting package
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and capacity to relay complex information in plain English
Demonstrated experience evaluating, cleansing, remediating and maintaining the quality of data stored within operational systems
Demonstrated experience in the consolidation of multiple internally maintained and externally available data sets to facilitate deeper analysis
Capacity for creative problem solving, and ability to take ownership of requirements and problems and work independently to develop solutions
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant specialisation such as statistics, computer science or information technology, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
