The Melbourne Grammar School Foundation AGM was held in the Higgins Theatrette last week with a
pleasing number of attendees, most of whom came to listen to Mr Nick Fabbri, Captain of School in 2010.
Nick was awarded the OM’s Fellowship last year and visited a number of countries in South America to
commence an intensive Spanish Language course while working in several orphanages during his travels.
He stated the Fellowship had provided him with “the most profound experience of his life”. Nick displayed
genuine emotions for the South American people and children with whom he interacted. He is currently
completing an Arts Degree at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Literature and History, as well as
completing a Diploma in Theology. In his ‘spare time’, he has founded an international affairs magazine
and he has been awarded the Global Voices National Scholarship to attend the G20 Summit in St
Petersburg, Russia in July. He is a very impressive young man.
