（1）往会计方面发展，就要考CPA，在资格证书上要花大量时间/精力。请问按您说的这个职业发展道路“Logistics Coordinator -> Demand Planner -> Inventory Analyst -> Procurement Analyst -> Supply Chain Operations Manager”，也需要投入很多时间考证书么？
I didn’t get any supply chain related certificate but I am working towards my master of business in Operations and Supply Chain (expected to finish next year)
I have a bachelor accounting before I worked full time, I then studied part time and completed a Master of Financial Analysis (back in 2009). However they are not related to my role at all.
Non related qualifications like this, appear in my resume to impress the employer(s) that this person is actually educated and probably number savvy (accounting and finance background).
That said, if you want to progress faster than your peers, you do need to do some self studies. Keep yourself abreast of what’s happening in the field. When it comes to interview you have a lot to elaborate.
I always believe that whoever stop learning outside 8 hours working wont survive long term in his/her career.
（2）会计每月做的东西每月几乎没什么变化，那可不可以理解为随着经验/资历的增长，只需投入很少精力就能完成工作呢？而supply chain是否需要投入更多精力？
There are repetitive things that a normal accounting person needs to do on a monthly basis. There are set procedures in different companies that you cant skip.
You might set Macro and all sorts of templates to help you improve efficiencies, Yes.
However as your experience grows it is likely that you are assigned with additional tasks, and some of which could be tedious.
I cant commit to the day in day out, doesn’t mean you cant. Many people actually enjoy the structural working scope.
It is quite personal and it is really your choice.
One could have a fantastic and rewarding career in accounting however my opinion is that the variety wont be as much as what supply chain can offer.
Any more specific questions relating to accounting, you need to seek advice from accounting professionals (which I am not one of those).
（3）前辈你说“同等年资的”Supplier chain manager和Accounting Manager相比，薪水高很多，大概差距多少？
Sorry cant comment. It depends on which industry, and even in the same industry it varies from company to company.
They can be the same. Or vastly different. Don’t judge it by the title – XXXX manager.
A supply chain analyst could earn a lot more than a financial manager.
Or a supply chain manager could have less wages than a financial analyst.
It works either way with no set rules.
One is responsible to define the quality of his/her own role.
