School Holiday Program
With a little planning a day out in the city doesn't have to be expensive. Throughout the winter school holidays Fed Square has a jam-packed program of free and affordable activities to delight visitors of all ages.
ACMI - Kids in the Studio
These school holidays, ACMI invites kids and families to unleash their inner architect! Working with local artists Rachel Feery and Lisa Stewart, who will lay the 'foundations' of the city, participants will use cardboard and everyday materials to create a new world. Recommended for families and kids aged 3 years and up.
Dates: Monday 4 July - Friday 15 July
Time: Drop in anytime between 11am and 3pm
Cost: Free
Note: first in best dressed - no phone or online bookings are taken in Utopia!
The Art of The Brick
Nathan Sawaya has created a visual feast of large-scale 3D sculptures created out of iconic
LEGO® bricks. From what started as a playful hobby when working as a high-flying New York Lawyer, Sawaya has created a wonderland using hundreds of thousands of LEGO bricks and his whimsical view of the world.
Dates: Open daily, 10am - 5pm
