I don't see any "greeting 招呼 微笑三部曲" you mentioned in 60#. Or you just made this up for argument sake.
In fact, what you are saying in 60# is exactly what i was trying to say: do what you need to do no matter how they appears to be.
If that's what you do, i won't say a thing.
I believe most of them are NOT intentional, they might not even realize what they appear to be.
After all, you are there at the store all the time, you are the professional sales and you are more focused on people,
while they might have just walked into your store the first time and they were simply focused too much on things and ignored you.
Or maybe they were just a poor woman who haven't being shopping in a fashion store for year that she feels embarrassed and uncomfortable?
...... there are too many possibilities. Just don't just people by their first impression.
And don't just a few cases to represent the whole race! That's the definition of racist!
Be calm, be thoughtful, be nice. That's your professional way as a sales.
Of course, if they are smart customer, they know how to make sure sales happy and enjoy a happy shopping experience.
