1. Harry still a royal handful.
Handful: [informal] One that is too difficult to control or handle easily 难搞定的人或事。
看看这个专门惹事生非的家伙又做了什么。
Party boy Prince Harry has been photographed grabbing a pretty blonde’s boob on a boozy night out with big brother William and mates.
Boozy: given to or marked by the consumption of alcohol 酩酊的。它的名词为booze: [Slang] alcohol 酒，比如：I promised to bring two bottles of booze to the party. 这个词经常用到，因为大家没事都喜欢喝两杯。这里又出现了上次的帖子提到的booby的缩写boob。
Harry的胆子真够大的。Chelsy也挺可怜，想装着不知道都不能，全世界都给报道了。
The raunchy encounter happened behind the back of Harry’s girlfriend Chelsy Davy, who was away at the time.
Raunchy: [Slang] obscene, lewd, or vulgar 淫秽的。
那么这个见证人算是一定程度地维护Harry吧，说他是酒后乱性。
A witness said: “Harry was really going for it. He had been downing drink all night and was touchy-feely with everyone – especially Natalie.”
Touchy-feely: [informal] marked by or emphasizing physical closeness and emotional openness 哈哈，这个很明显了，就是又是touch又是feel的。
2. I released my greatest hits after only three albums. I go out with a punk rocker, but would never do a reality show like Jessica Simpson, as it’s not my “style”.
Hit 经常用到，指success，比如：Your proposal is a hit with the boss。在很多歌曲上了排行榜或者电影引起轰动的时候也会被称之为HITS。
Punk：Musical movement of disaffected youth in the late 1970s. It combined simple melodies and harmonies with strong lyrics (often crude and deliberately offensive) about youth rebellion. Image was important to punk and consisted of bizarre and outlandish fashions, spiked hair, and scowling expressions.
談到「龐克」時，每個人心中所浮現的意象都不相同，也許是粗暴又具攻擊性的搖滾樂演出，如著名的樂團「性手槍」（Sex Pistols），他們會向觀眾吐口水，甚至和觀眾上演全武行。有些人想到那些遊走在街上的龐克青年（Street Punk），無所事事，穿環、掛金屬鍊、身著撕破的牛仔褲、皮靴、網襪、他們將頭上兩邊的頭髮剃了，中間部份豎立並用髮膠固定、染上五顏六色，把自己打扮得像隻刺蝟，嘴吐髒話眼神不屑；或者，粗糙拼貼和影印的自製同仁誌和傳單…等等，當然，有些人聯想的不只是視覺形象，而是它所引發的基進的社會、文化運動和它所具有的無政府主義思想。這些都是「龐克」表現出來的不同面向（甚至是某種刻板印象），它們讓人感到危險、兇猛和忿怒，並以此衝擊著社會大眾與傳統。這種「叛逆」源自於70年代的一群年輕人，他們不滿生活與現實，而也是透過這樣的「態度」使得所謂「龐克文化」表現出複雜且驚人的面貌。（reference: http://goya.bluecircus.net/archives/006003.html） |
