这是个好消息呀！:)  
我以前收到FN的信好像就没有这种告诉你他们现在处理的信息的嘛。而且前段时间我写email去问他们目前在处理几月交的case，他们还说不能说的。

我刚才查了一下,信用卡在4月2日已经被扣钱了.不知道什么时候会收到FN,是邮寄到家里吗?可是我下周6要搬家了.是不是要通知移民局呀?发传真还是打电话?

今天终于收到了盼望已久的信，但这已是FINAL OPPORTUNITY 了，因为他说去年12月17号已发出了通知，要求2008年2月28日前体检。我居然没收到！新的截至日期是4月30号，一刻也不能耽搁了。

My parents logged their application Feb 2007. They were notified to do the health examination and send the additional document in last Nov. We have paid the bond before last Christmas. We haven't heard anything since then.

请问，移民局是寄信寄到你澳洲的住址还是你父母国内的住址啊？
被你这么一说，我好担心哦。会不会我也没有及时收到他们寄出的信啊？

看来大家都要等大约1年的样子，为什么移民局网站上说要等2年呢？我家2月递交，3月头收到FN，正准备让他们先过来再说，在国内等1年-2年太让人焦心了。

跟我们的情况几乎一模一样。移民官说今年的名额用完了，只能等7月份出来明年的名额了。而且到时候可能会有新政策出台。

曾经看到过有人在拿到FN后就申请父母过来探亲的帖子的，要不然你再搜搜

Yes, your parents can certainly apply for the vistor visa during the waiting period.

My mum is the case. She has been sucessfully granted a 1 yr vistor visa after we lodged her application last November.

我也不是很清楚。下面是我收到的移民官的email。大家来分析一下吧。
Applicanst have satisfied all requirements. Second payment will be
requested on the availability of visa places.

We have limited  parents visa places available in  each program year
(From1st July to 30th June). At present we are running out of visas.

The Australian Government is being briefed on a range of issues across
the
portfolio, including the issues associated with Contributory Parent
visa
demand (which has implications for a range of Commonwealth agencies)
and
the legislative tools that are available to manage that demand.  We
cannot
speculate about the Government's approach. As soon as decisions have
been
made, we will be in a position to advise individual clients about the
processing implications.  To the extent that the relevant Departmental
processing area has deferred requesting payments of the second
instalment
of the visa application charge, this approach is designed so as not to
disadvantage individuals by asking them to commit large amounts of
money
until relevant policy decisions are made.  This will not affect the
order
of precedence in which Contributory Parent visa applications are
finalised.
Other Contributory Parent visa processing is continuing in the normal
way.
