You are still very young
I suggest you try the real accounting job outside of Big city. Start with a small firm to get the right experience first, then it is easier to get a better position in the bigger city like Sydney.
Many Chinese mums in their 30s work in the financial services or government, they seem have a very flexible and easy job with better pay/bonus.
But you don't how hard they worked before or what qualifications they might have.
For example, I know A and B had law degrees apart from just accounting or finance degree. C graduated from Yale university. D had a master degree and started with a small firm in Brisbane first. By the way, they all have CPA qualification...
It is tough and competitive to get in the middle office/finance area in financial services company for new migrants, but once you get in, the job is so much stable and flexible.
Good luck, never give up your dream, you just need to try harder first!!! Call centre job is a shrinking business sector here in Australia. The employers here look for three things : your relevant experience, relevant qualifications and communication skill. |
