That's fine. The hard evidences exist. As I said, I don't mind people misunderstanding me, cause I know who I am.
Also, I believe that Mr. Lang can be a good stock dealer, however, he prefer focusing on macro-econimics. Well you can never be good at anything. it is more important to figure out what is your real interest and how to use your telant into your interest.

理论我在上完大学已经全部掌握了，后面所有的时间是在实践中加深和发展对理论的理解，同时，在将更深的理论理解运用回实践中，事业和成就其实只是理论正确性的表现形式，是用来体现这些理论的正确性。
反正我是这么理解的。maybe i am wrong.

There are at least 2 things you have impress me.

1) - Understand, you have ventured your business from International trading to Café industry.
    - How do you master the Café industry and improve the sales in such a short time?
    - Did you work for others in Café before ?
    - How do you learn to make a good coffee if you haven't work in Café before?

2) - As you know Melbourne has very rich Café culture. Therefore, the quality of food is very crucial in order to compete.
    - Is easier to maintain the freshness of food rather to maintain a good team of staffs.
    - How do you maintain your good staff team except paying them slightly higher wage? This will be failed if competitor offer   your staff higher pay than yours.


I think for all business, a good staff is very hard to retain especially small business.

1) it is all about how fast and efficiently you can learn about this industry. And that's my telant. I know how to collect the most useful information through conversations. I talk to the other shop owners, suppliers, staffs and customers and collect so many information. Then organize it and figure out what is the most important to my particular business. And then start to arrange my works. I can work ten times more efficiently than my competitors. That's why.

2)regarding to staffs, I have answered this question in my previous post. motivation doesn't mean financial rewards. It is more complex than you think, because people are complex. You thought you know your staffs, sometime it turns out you know nothing.
I communicate to my staffs all the time, just wanna to find out what kind of person he/she is. I ask their opinions, however, the answers are not what I really want, the most important thing is HOW THEY THINK. Then I will know their particular personalities. The motivation will be made on the base of the understanding of their personalities.

So I never doubt that my current staffs will leave me without a proper reason. They will be hard to find a boss like me.
When I told you all these skills, they are easy to understand. However, it takes a really long time to understand and know how to do properly. When you have those skills, you will understand more about leadership.

Yes ! Pretty much you have answered my question.

To be honest, I am using the same approach as well.

Re the staff issue, I think a good staff will still leave one day regardless what reason it is.

As a employer, we need to have 宽容之心 and move on.

'No body can please everyone at the same time'

that's good.

And that's why I said it is hard to run a busy cafe than a trade company. In a cafe, you have to make 500 plus customers happy EVERY DAY. However, in a trade company, maybe you only just make one customer happy EVERY TRANSACTION. But the cafe is a good resource of cash flow. So I decided to keep the cafe and do something else in the same time. Something requires higher level of skills with better profitability.

Also, I have worked out how long my each staff will stay with me. I have already arranged the backup. I try to consider any accidences and work out the solution for each of them. I called it risk management

nice reply. in your previous thread i knew uv (delicately, might be) missed an extremely important part of running a business i.e. 2 b a strong and effective team leader. leadership doesnt come in just b cos you paid for it. its a very very subtle thing to understand and to operate on. this is way i said there are only two types of business owners, one working for themselves. and the other has ppl working for them who are called the entrepreneurs doesnt matter how humble their starts are btw what you discussed in ur previous thread were general rules/principles of being a business owner. ppl can hardly fault them and you were talkin' in a pushy and aggressive way. thats probably why they couldnt get it. you eye on a broad range of a aspects, congr8s and to my understanding running business is to setup a system which consists of a couple of sub systems. each of those cooperates with the rest of its peer systems. none of them should be missing and each of them should be given equal amount of attention. well done dude. i m glad to hear someone is confident at claiming that he/she is a quicker learner. a quicker learner normally indicates high level of inherited intelligence capability. u will have a bight future because of this yeeeehaaaa

equal amount of attention is right. However, you may consider the priority of them when you have limited resources. well, it requires more understading about your internal environment.

yes its how i view a business. every business is different hence u have to customize ur system according to your own working process and workload. again here comes in the capability of inherited intelligence. not every business owner can observe their surroundings and extract useful into and utilize it effectively. it involves a series of logical thinking/reasoning activities. where am i? where do i wanna go? how do i get there? skillsets needed? buy or develop? costs vs effectiveness blah blah blah. but if i were you i would design a system which can protect itself. this is indeed THE fundamental or foundation stone of ur business. i would never rely on my staff. i dun care how reliably and loyalty they look like. because you can trust no one.
