这周的比赛内容简单多了,就等周末拉出来比比看咯。
What is this WOW About?
RM recording
Record your best 2, 4, and 6 Rep Max (RM) set for each exercise within the time limit of 20 minutes (in no particular order):
Left arm Dumbbell DB Hang to Overhead Press
Right Arm DB Hang to Overhead Press
BB Deadlift
add up the weight used on all 9 successful sets.
Rules:
DB HANG TO OVERHEAD PRESS
Each rep must start with the body standing tall, the DB held by one hand and hanging.
The DB cannot touch the floor until all reps are complete.
Each rep must be lifted to a height whereby the body is completely tall, hips extended, DB overhead and arms fully extended. The bicep must cover the ears from side on view.
The movement from the hang to overhead is commonly completed via a clean & press or clean & jerk, however a clean & split-jerk or snatch or squat-clean & press may also be executed. Trainer to instruct best option for the participant.
The DB must be lowered back to the floor under control once finished.
Common reasons for the rep to be called a failed rep:
The DB is not pressed high enough at the top to achieve a straight arm.
The bicep does not cover the ear at the top.
The participant decides that placing the DB down is ok mid-set. it isn't.
DEADLIFT
Each rep must start from the ground.
The barbell cannot be any higher than 21cm off the ground, this is standard olympic bar height. If using plates smaller than olympic plates, steps/plates/chocks may be used to bring the barbell height up.
Each rep must be lifted to a height whereby the body is completely tall, hips extended, shoulders back.
The bar must be lowered back to the floor under control, never dropped. The bar must be "dead" before the next lift.
The hands must never release their hold on the bar throughout the set.
You have a maximum of 30 seconds to complete each set.
Lifting aids cannot be used.
Common reasons for the rep to be called a failed rep:
The body does not stand tall enough.
The barbell is bounced off the ground between reps.
The barbell is dropped once the top of the range is achieved.
