好吧,今天收到virgin的Email 回复了:
Hi XX,
Thanks for your email.
We understand your concern about rate increase and we know the importance of this.
In order to be align with the market change and properly have the resources to sustain the quality service that we provide for calling international numbers, we have decided to make some increase for the current charges for this service. In a competitive marketplace we need to benchmark ourselves against our competitors by ensuring that we provide the best quality service through enhanced equipment and resources to support your needs. This is the reason that we have already forwarded the notification as our campaign and our effort to properly notify you with the upcoming changes commencing on 28/02/2013.
In recent times, the cost to Virgin Mobile of international calls has risen and we have had to pass these costs on. Please note that the price of international calls are influenced by a number of factors including market shifts, international exchange rates, foreign government regulations and so on.
In the interest of fairness, it’s worth noting we’ve facilitated minimal changes to the top 20 countries our customers call (constituting the vast majority of calls made to other countries) and we’re still one of the only telcos who includes international calling in your plan.
To know your account options, please call our Loyalty Team directly on 1300 306 787. They are available from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday & 9am to 6pm on Saturday (AEST).
We hope for your kind understanding regarding this matter.
If you have any further questions, just let us know - we’re here to help.
Cheers,
Lawrence
