You might be able to get these payments and services if you are planning for retirement, have already retired, or are continuing to work. You may be eligible for Age Pension We understand that sometimes you might need some support with your expenses. The Age Pension is a payment to help you with the basic cost of living in your retirement years. The amount of Age Pension you get will depend on the level of your assets (the things you own) and your income such as wages. If you or your partner get a Disability Pension from the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA), you can both choose to have your Age Pension paid by DVA instead of us. Pensioner Concession Card A Pensioner Concession Card gives cardholders access to Australian Government health concessions and helps with the cost of living by reducing the cost of certain goods and services. 10 years bonds is based on calender year 10 years, not actually 10 years physical stay in Australia.
So it means once you assuror get the bonds back after calender 10 years, you can apply for the centralink payments.
However, as you haven't physically stay in Australia for 10 years, you won't meet the requirements of aged pension. But you can apply for special benefits.
