船是王道，半夜大风也敢走！

这是你的Elite5 Dsi带GPS吧，很牛！我在Kayak装了Elite 4 Dsi，画面眼熟。大太阳时比较郁闷，一点点的鱼都看不清。
请问你为什么频率设800？这个频率不是扫水的中上层比较好吗？

elite 不能装 structure scan 的吧
我的是HDS-5
800khz 是高分辨率用的，是我的lss2用的，我设置的是2边各30米。
如果你的是DSI，你可能只有2种选择吧，800和455，800是浅水和淡水用，最深到60-80米，455是深水用。

Hi Oonie... by the size of the scan it seems like a patch of bait fish though.

I believe the forum poster was doing mainly drifting, especially in choppy condition thus the GPS historic tracks are multiple.

Melbourne Snapper are still biting hot at the moment but the weather does play up a little so it makes us reluctant to go out.

这位高人，我给出的那声纳上显示的是50-70cm 的 snapper，这也莫非成了 patch bait 了
我不是 mainly drift 的，我是全部 drift 啊，帖子里我也说的很很清楚了啊，我用 sp，只 drift，不扎锚的。上面的 GPS tracks 可能是几个月我都在那个地方用过的，我懒的每次都清理做新track的了，和choppy否关系不大，choppy 的话，从 声纳上是可以看出来的，但是 GPS track几乎是看不出来的。我 drift 的时候是在 15节的风的情况下设的，同时current very stong，这样的情况下，我设定的 drift 还能这么清晰而且每次都非常圆满的通过我要通过的点，而每次的 drift 还是这么接近，我是很满意的。
这个是 bait school 的dsi 的图象



和上面 snapper school 的图象很明显的不同，你可以对比下不同。

Do you use StructureScan to locate the fish? Most of the time I use sonar to get better reading. Do you know how to clarify weed and muddy bottom?

找鱼时我是一直用 structure scan 的，快速开船的时候我才用老的方式的 sonar to read depth，那东西找鱼效果差了不少，同时很容易混淆。
weed 和  mud 最简单的分别是 weed 会高出来比较多，mud 基本上是紧贴地表。也算是比较容易分辨出来的吧。但是小块的 weed 和鱼群，我却只能看structure scan了，看老的方式的 sonar 我是老费劲了。

Dsi images 好像不管多少深度，大小的显示不会有太多变化的。有空了我给你找几张典型的大snapper追bait ball 的图像
看我发的几张截图中，应该能比较bait 和平school fish 同样深度的图像的

HDS和DSI都是扫STRUCTURE的，区别是HDS速度更快，外加可以扫周围整片区域？

我在淡水中用过ELITE4 DSI，可以看到鱼大小，有些特别大条的，我估计是鲤鱼，和鱼苗还是有较大区别的

不是的，structure scan 需要理解成side scan，dsi理解成高分辨率
structure scan 用的transducer 和你的那个又不一样的。lowrance网站你看下应该有比较详细的介绍的
