pacific hwy 有right turn吧? 前天下午在 telegraph右拐的路口还撞死了人呢,晚上回家都还堵着,pacific hwy封闭了北上的车道

yes, to be avoided when possible. But LZ ask about primary school so it's hard to ignore Artarmon.

hard to say why primary school matters as long as it is reasonable.

i will more inclined to look at junior high schools. it is hard to get eveything.

I agree, from my own education experience, junior high school is a bit more important.
philgu, what is the benefit of having three kids rather than 1 or 2?

第一个小孩用10的成本精力,第二个用8, 第三个用5,第四个用2,所以总共25<40,规模效益好

I have none. And for us, the only thing we might get if we have kids is probably child care rebate. other than that, don't think we can get anythng else.

Oh, if u enroll more than 1 kid in private school, u might get discount for the second and the third. But at $20k each per year, three kids still very expensive even with discounts.

Phi, the child care rebate policy might change later on. Who knows. I'm not expecting anything from gov now.

LZ, your budget 600-800K is for house or unit/apartment? If it's house, it might be too less. I help my friend to find a property in those suburbs with a land no less than 800sqm and not close to main road, but we could not find any under 950K so far.

May I know the property that you mentioned above? The price is unbelievable! My friend might be interested in it if it's not close to main road and not far from station.

我觉得楼主这个预算其实可以考虑在ARTMON买个好的3房TOWNHOUSE,老的HOUSE MAINTAINEN起来真的好费神费钱的。该地区靠近CITY,靠近北雪梨和CHATSWOOD,附近也有很好的学校。

The size of the land is big, but I guess maintenance cost is high and lots of effort is needed....
I am lazy and no time for this....

Just searched domain. The price there is out of my limit...
But the right one has not shown up yet..

I went to inpsect a few new and old houses in Gordon and Pymble... Some of the new ones are between 900K..But still high.
Even townhouse is about upper 700K there....
