If you are talking hybrid in toyota.
Because it is using the hybrid battery to run the motor at that time. There is a button can show you what sort of power supplying the car. there is no switch to turn off.

油箱的油还能跑5公里，但是离最近加油站还有7公里的时候？

Depending on the vehicle, in eco mode the throttle won't be as responsive or the transmission will shift into a higher gear at lower rpms, or the electric systems will be tuned to reduce their energy draw.

高速没用，区别就是低速启动的时候减少油耗，但是加速很慢，不爽。
经常开市区不喜欢大脚油门的适合开。
换我受不了，我市区肯定开sports mode。
