我一直以为在美国是可以搭顺风车旅游的，看了下面这个小故事，发现事实并非如此。

这是一位21岁的稚嫩青年，某天突然有了一个不太靠谱又有点疯狂的想法 - 他要搭顺风车从圣路易斯去新奥尔良。在路边站了三个小时，看到一辆又一辆车驶过来，心里充满期望的年轻人，一次又一次伸出拇指，但没有一辆车停下来。。。

散步路过一个little pond，就是一个水泡子，水里有鸭子，我兴奋的对一个走过来的西人老太太说，看，那边有鸭子哎，看，three duck！

老太太笑了，慈祥的看着我说，ducks，three ducks.

我也常常忘记用“复数”，去超市找不到 egg，就问，人家回答“eggs”。从此记住，不能说”egg“，要说“eggs”。

Drivers in New York City will have to drive more slowly from Friday. The city has introduced a new speed limit of 25 mph (40 kph). The old limit was 30 mph (about 48 kph). The new law will apply to about 90 per cent of the city's streets. The city's Department of Transportation hopes the lower speed limit will make people drive more carefully and reduce traffic accidents and deaths. 我咋以为人在浅睡眠的时候也会做梦的，困的不行了时，人进入似睡非睡状态，然后意识开始模糊，思绪飞向远方。。。

See a doctor if you can't stop a nosebleed within 30 minutes, if there is a lot of blood, or if you have nosebleeds often.
