Simon Polombi
“You can tell me to try harder, but I reckon I've done pretty well on the overachievement stakes.
I'm 27 and a law graduate (July 2012). I did an internship with the United Nations Security Council in the first half of 2011, another with the Lowy Institute for International Policy in the summer of 2011-12, and I also did a clerkship with a British law firm in Hong Kong in July 2012.
On top of this, I worked on an Australian Research Council project looking into political risk in China from 2009 to the end of 2010, and I also taught first-years in international relations between 2009 and 2012. All while studying law full-time.
Yet I am presently unemployed and have been floating between underemployment and unemployment since August 2012。。。”
