Description:        An opportunity is available for you to apply for the position of Receptionist/Administration Officer in our NT Branch located in Darwin.

Major responsibilities include:


    Deliver outstanding customer service to vendors & buyers
    Receptionist duties; answer and attend to incoming calls
    Co-ordinate transport of all goods, vehicles, trucks and machinery on behalf of our vendors
    Administrative duties associated with the auction process including: data entry, purchase orders, customer service as well as cashiers relief and general office duties
    Discharge duties in accordance with the relevant Pickles procedures and with the Pickles Commitment and Values.
    Team with branch staff and management to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the branch

Skills, Attributes & Experience Required:       

    12 months experience in a similar role
    Excellent customer service skills
    Excellent telephone manner
    Fast & accurate alpha-numeric data entry skills
    Intermediate MS Office skills
    Self motivation & flexibility
    Able to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
    Competent interpersonal skills; ability to relate to staff and customers at all levels
    Efficient; organised & able to prioritise competing tasks
    Excellent personal presentation
    High volume cash handling experience will be an advantage

    High attention to detail
    Flexible & efficient; the ability to prioritise competing tasks
