是这样的,我先是通过了对方的电话面试,然后在上周四去参加他们的现场面试,电子邮件里面说要持续1到2个小时,但实际上他们面试了我两个半小时,最后出来的时候那个leader还和我详细讲了一下他们的产品,并且通知我将在一周内给我正式答复,同时他也态度很好地明确告诉我不要担心,至少这天下午的面试“not failed”,但他一个人不能说了算,需要公司里集体决定(这两个半小时开始有三个考官,半个小时以后其中一个退出去了,另一个也在大概一个小时以后退出去了,那两个退出去的考官几乎没问什么问题,90%的问题都是那个leader问的),这是不是意味着我这次现场面试通过了?我还听说面试时间越长通过的几率越高,请问是这样吗?
那个leader最后给了我三个评价:
1)基础知识很扎实
2)动手解决问题的能力“impressed”他了(面试过程中有实际的上机编程测试,六道题最后一道我没做出来,但是那个leader自己也搞不定,我们一起研究搞定的,就这个过程中我给他留了点印象)
3)我以前从事的工作是桌面界面开发,但是在C/S服务端开发部分的东西有很好的理论知识但是很明显缺乏这方面的实际开发经验,而他们最需要的是这块人(这时候我辩解了一下说这块东西我懂但是相关开发经验欠缺,只要给我时间我是完全能够胜任这方面工作的,他也表示同意,说看得出我这方面的理论知识还是可以的)
另外他们也在面试过程中得知我的一些其他方面的信息:
1)没有澳大利亚本地工作经验
2)我是一个part-time在读master(悉尼大学,IT专业)
3)原来国内的公司规模不大,开发团队30人左右,其中只有五六个人是职业程序员
4)我辞职到现在已经有一年多的时间没有接触VC的MFC开发了,而是花了不少时间提高英语和在悉尼大学念书(IT)
而我们在交谈的两个半小时里面感觉语言的问题不是很大,他们和我说话都普通语速,很快,我也都能听懂并且回答很自然。而回答的问题我几乎都答得挺好,那个leader还是频频点头的(所以他说我的基础非常扎实)。
等待的时间心里很浮躁,什么事情都没心思做,真不舒服啊,大家看看我这种情况,希望大不大?
另外,回来以后我的自我感觉挺好,但是忘了写一封 thank you letter,不知道这个影响大不大,现在还能补上吗?因为我不想干等着,很想做点什么。
