JOB SUMMARY:
Reviewing and completing Global Artwork Request Forms then once approval has been received, generating packaging artwork for Asia Pacific in accordance with local regulations and company requirements. Create and submit ECRs to manufacturing sites.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Labeling & Packaging - Artwork     45%
Generating packaging artwork for Asia Pacific in accordance with local regulations and company  requirements once Global Artwork Request Form (GARF) approval has been granted.
Using the Mac computer for generation of artwork from beginning or making changes on existing artworks depending on circumstances.
Ensuring processes follow corporate procedures.
Liaising with World Wide Specifications (corporate division) to obtain new artwork component number, new product number and generation of drawing templates.
Liaising with regulatory contacts throughout Asia Pacific for compilation of artwork in foreign languages.
Using Pax-pro for artwork circulation and storage.
Initiating, reviewing and completing GARF projects.

Labeling & Packaging - ECR/ECO   45%
Creating and submitting Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to manufacturing sites. Routing ECRs to Regional Regulatory and QA staff for sign off
Maintaining ECR/ECO records on SAP for all Asia Pacific packaging
Reviewing changes for the logistics impact and liaise with Logistics on the changes
Liaising with manufacturing plants and Logistics to ensure prompt and accurate supply of product to countries once approval is received
Having a working knowledge of the RECR documentation process for repackaging operations in Asia Pacific Region
Ensuring that the repackaging operation in Hong Kong complies with individual country requirement and meets with Corporate quality policy through the generation of repackaging

Projects  10%
Performing other project tasks as requested. These tasks may include but are not limited to:
 Training staff in artwork generation including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
 Coordinating Australian labeling changes to meet new device regulations.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
Successful completion of High School Certificate and a course in either Adobe Illustrator or Indesign CS2 or CS3.
Skilled at using a MAC computer.
Previous experience working in supply chain is desirable.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
Strong computer literacy with Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and Adobe Illustrator or Indesign CS2 or CS3.
Experience working with SAP.
Ability and willingness to follow processes and instructions.
Confident to communicate to Asia Pacific colleagues.
