Samsung has confirmed that it’ll launch a 4in version of its Android-based popular Galaxy S III smartphone in Germany tomorrow.
The scaled down device is being pitched at Europeans unhappy with the existing, 4.8in S III and would prefer something a little easier to hold and use in one hand and fits in pockets better. Something like the iPhone 5, in other words, which also has a 4in screen.
And while the handset will be smaller than the current S III, all the hints coming out of Samsung suggest it won’t be any less functional than the big phone introduced in May. ®
