Decision
As you do not meet one or more clauses in Schedule 2 of the Regulations, I find that you do not meet the criteria for the grant of a TOURIST (Class TR) TOURIST VISA (Subclass 676) visa.
Based on your application, I can see that you have closer personal ties to Australia than you do to China. As such, I have concerns about your personal incentives to depart Australia within visa validity.
You did not satisfy Subclause 676.221(2)(a) of the Migration Regulations 1994, which reads that:
"The applicant satisfies the Minister that the applicant’s expressed intention to only visit Australia is genuine."
Based on the information provided in your application, you have not previously travelled to any country outside of China. Although this does not stand against you, your international travel and immigration record does not support your application by demonstrating that you have abided by the conditions of prior visas and departed other countries within visa validity.
Therefore, I refuse your application for a TOURIST (Class TR) TOURIST VISA (Subclass 676) visa lodged at Guangzhou.
