足迹的各位做SAP BPC/BO/BI/BW的高手们，有个问题请教一下，关于SAP BPC的开发流程的问题：

1 BPC在ECC6的环境中，是SAP FI的一个做business Planning and Consolidation的子模块呢，还是Business Object的一个子模块。在网上查了相关的资料，说Business Object Planning and Consolidation的提法，但里面又提到了BPC Fully Integrate到FI的模块，所以想确认一下；还有BPC可以独立于报表系统而存在于ECC6中呢，还是以BO／BI为依托，做出完善的财务报表的；

2 BPC的开发流程和SAP BI的有什么不同？SAP BI的流程是先后建立Info Object，Info Source，Info Cube等，然后建立View把Cube里的数据显示出来，不知道BPC的异同点在哪里？

3 BPC在开发过程中主要的Challenge在哪里，偏技术的开发难度还是对Business的了解，如对公司内部Accounting Policy，月末财务的流程的掌握。技术上应该重视什么，财务上应该重视什么？

急求各位大佬们回复，生死攸关哈。

谢谢各位给出宝贵意见和帮顶的兄弟姐妹。LZ是有一个面试，已经过了第一轮，下周可能要进行第二轮，这次面试注重BPC技术和其他技术的问题。对于上面的三个问题有点不是太清楚，请教各位了。

我才接触SAP2个月左右，看公司招来的SAP contractor， 感觉分的很细，搞PI的不懂CRM UI， 搞ABAP语言的不懂CRM， 搞Function的不懂UI， 搞Transport不懂其他的。 很难找到一个从头到尾都了解得人。 难道SAPde分类就是这么细？

我们的情况就是用PI call 现有系统的Web Service， 然后再CRM UI里面调用PI 产生出的SAP的web Service.

1。FI是SAP公司的ECC产品中的模块,而BPC是SAP ENTERPRISE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS其中之一,他们是独立的,但是两者又是互相集成的,一般BPC中的主数据还是取自FI，因此不需要BO／BI为依托
2。没搞过BPC开发
3。不单SAP，所有软件开发的难点都在于技术与business的结合，所以都说做SAP functional Consultant有前途，IT（SAP），business都要懂。准备面试的话，只能看BPC产品介绍，然后结合财务流程，来展开。

The NetWeaver version of SAP BPC provides additional advantages.  Because it is integrated into the SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (BW) system, the data is stored in SAP NetWeaver BW InfoCubes and enjoys all of the advantages of this system.
When objects are created in the SAP BPC system, the system creates equivalent objects in the SAP NetWeaver BW system.
The SAP NetWeaver BW system is the backend system where objects are created and the data is stored for SAP BPC.
You may sometimes extract master, text, hierarchy, and transaction data from a source system into the SAP NetWeaver BW system before loading the data to an SAP BPC system.  In this case, the SAP NetWeaver BW system is used as a staging system for data before being loaded to the planning and consolidation application.  The objects related to setting up the staging environment are created directly in the SAP NetWeaver BW system.

搜一下BPC的case study吧。我没接触过BPC，也不是做财务的，只是好奇的扫了几眼BPC的介绍，加上一点我个人的理解。

Thanks for sharing the information.  Based on this one, I am confused that if how can BPC get the data without BW.  But the agent told me the company only uses BPC, but no BW.
Could you please kindly let me know if you have any materials there?  The company plans to have a interview with me on technical BPC live.  I believe there may be some live operations during the session.

Will have the interview tomorrow to show the BPC skills in live environment, which include setting up input schedule and submitting the data, setting up a report and copying and clearing data between categories using packages.
Anyone has the experience on this?  Please kindly share with me.

Spent $80 to buy the book online to get the information and are reading the book SAP BusinessObject Planning and Consolidation now.  Hope it will help for tomorrow's interview.

没做过开发，稍微讨论一下business view。

1. 做过两个公司，一个是ecc->bw->bpc。一个是ecc->bw->hyperion。至于bpc能否直接做在ecc上。不清楚。感觉不可以。另外，用bpc的公司，一般都会有用sap bo了吧？lz面试的公司没有吗？那用什么工具来aggregate tranaction data呢?

3. lz是functional consultant还是technical consultant. 前者肯定得知道一些公司流程。后者似乎会写程序最重要。in general, 觉得bi系统的开发，需要对business有很好的了解，并且对对未来发展的有较好的前瞻。

Ecc, bw, bpc都是一家的产品，肯定互相intergrate了。但是就算不是一家的产品，数据也能倒来倒去的啊。只是工作量大些。

I have gone through the interviews and wait for the reference check now.  The position is SAP Business Analyst which focuses on the leadership to build and improve the BPC system and the following budget / forecast planning process.  It is a good one for me to step further in my career.
After I finish my assignment and everything is settled down, i will update the related information in this topic.
If you have any questions would like to discuss, please write it down as well.  It will help all of us.

--SAP BPC算是SAP BI/BO的一个Add-on或者子模块，跟SAP ECC本身的关系大大的小于它和SAP BI/BO的关系。它由一个Admin Console后台的开发环境和Excel/Web的Frontend前台的使用环境组成。在后台环境里，可以建立Dimensions，Application，Logic Rules和维护各种系统权限，数据更新流程等。

2 BPC的开发流程和SAP BI的有什么不同？SAP BI的流程是先后建立Info Object，Info Source，Info Cube等，然后建立View把Cube里的数据显示出来，不知道BPC的异同点在哪里？
--SAP BPC的开发流程和SAP BI的有非常大的不同，SAP BPC大大了简化了开发的困难程度。SAP BPC作为SAP BI的一部分，在做开发的时候，SAP BPC在SAP BI都会有所映射的。比如用SAP BPC Admin Console建立一个Dimension，那么SAP BI就自动生成了一个对应的Info Object，如果建立一个Application，那么自动生成一个对应的Info Cube等。数据的来源有三个重要的方面：1. 通常每年的各种Excel表格，重要的比如Budget和Forecast数据，可以经过Flat File直接Upload到SAP BPC里面，也可以使用Input Schedule里面EvDRE和EvSND函数上传。这里可以体现出SAP BPC对于SAP BI的另一个在FI/ACC方面的优点，就是数据录入和上传，修改方面的便利之处和简易的操作。

3 BPC在开发过程中主要的Challenge在哪里，偏技术的开发难度还是对Business的了解，如对公司内部Accounting Policy，月末财务的流程的掌握。技术上应该重视什么，财务上应该重视什么？
--SAP BPC的开发的主要Challenge在于对公司Planning和Consolidation的理解程度。技术上的话，需要有一定的ABAP和SAP BI的开发经验，可以大大的提高开发速度，比如从SAP ECC拿Transactional Data的方面；终端用户的权限控制解决方案（这块还在研究之中，希望有经验的朋友能给与一定的指导）。

发的帖子也快一年了，过得好快。

在这个公司的时候参与了CFO主导的Budget & Planning的BPC的开发。比如如何设计Budget和Planning的流程，以符合董事会的要求，能够更细节的体现出Planning等的更新。期间对于很多CFO提出的要求是不太理解的，却也找了不少方法和开发顾问探讨出解决的方案。也许待的时间太短，还没有完全的领会这些和在设计Budget & Planning过程中主要的Challenge吧。

之后换了公司，从七月底开始，算是真正参与了Oracle Hyperion整个Business Reporting & Planning开发和完善的过程，才更好的理解了当时CFO提出的很多的构思和要求。在Business方面，如果公司的结构比较复杂，对于公司架构，Business Scenario和Currency等的设计就会非常的困难。加上这块和Transaction System等不同，Reporting & Planning需要既兼顾董事会对于报表的内部需求(Management Accountant area)，如Managing Director Reporting，又需要符合外部的需求(Financial Accountant area)，如Statutory Report等，外加一个Cash Flow的报表。由于使用的是SAP ECC6和SAP BI，所以还需要考虑Oracle和SAP的兼容和Integrate。
