有没有童鞋异地找工成功的?

比如说人在布里斯本,网上找墨尔本的工作成功的. 如果成功,是电话面试,还是人要亲自飞过去? 费用自理吗?

一般先电，大家都有意了再说飞不飞的事情。一般飞了就已经希望非常大了，很多公司还包relocation fee或者刚过去1周的hotel fee.

怎么想去美国啊. 那边现在经济不好啊

我前几天 因为乱七八糟的讨论 有点想法  结果随便申了几份工作
直接写明 要求H1B 没入籍 没有E-3

然后 Skype 面试

有一家回复 然后 面试 2次 全部Skype
现在让我准备材料办签证.....于是我才想起来和老婆 家人商量.....

一致反对, 比较老婆短期走不开 我也还在学校挂着名.....

现在尴尬了 得想着怎么回掉人家.....

在悉尼申请昆州政府GP，先online test，然后电话面试，也可以选自己花钱飞过去面 no reimbursement 当然不会选拉。

还没有入澳籍，所以不能签E3，H1B好像很多公司不给办
准备明年直接去美国看看

To hunt a job in the States, you need to be selective. Generally speaking, the big names are always surrounded with enough candidates to select from. In this case there is no way you expect they would give you any chance...

For a new H1B, you cannot work before you get the approval which might take around 3 mths, however for a H1B transfer, which means you currently hold one and wants to move on, you only need to get the receipt before you start work for the new employer, which is pretty fast, say 14 days.)

So, the strategy would be, you first get into US, hold a visa provided by a comparatively smaller company. Then after serving around 1 yr,  move on to a bigger one if you want and kick start the green card application.

My original idea is getting the Australian passport firstly, then just go to the states directly without any visa as you can take the advantage of visa waive program. You can stay in US for up to 90 days to look for job. Once you get the job offer, apply the E3 visa which is a special working visa only for Australian citizens. This visa can be applied in Canada or other countries nearby, or you can come back here. Usually it would take 2 weeks to get the visa. At last, you can work in America without any problems. You even are able to change the employer as you wish, not like the H1B, it seems have some limits of changing the employers. By the way, there are 10,500 heads for E3 each year, never ran out since 2005 the first year that the visa started. So you don't have to squeeze yourself into the H1B pool with those heaps of Indian guys. It is said that the H1B visa always ran out very quickly except 2008 cause not many companies hired foreigners in that year due to the crisis.

Is there anyone knows more about this, I'd like to know. Share the info pls.

这个是对的 但是中国出生的话 这个签证没法申请绿卡

我当初是在Mel，直接简历上就填写悉尼的地址，要面试直接飞机当天来回，车子停机场。
跑了大概3-5次把，就搞定了。简单。
